Evans Should Stop Over Spending

At the end on many roads in Evans are “Stop Signs”. Too bad past town boards did not get the message!

Water Project – The Cost of Roads

Before signing a contract with the Erie County Water Authority, the Town of Evans was required to make water system and road improvements. At one of the first meetings, residents were told the cost would be $12,500,000 for water system improvements and $7,500,000 for road improvements. The $7.5M for roads disappeared from the public discussion. Fast forward to 2017 and 24 roads still need to be paved. No estimated cost has been made public.
